Attorney Chien’s legal education started at American University’s Washington College of Law, a top-tier law school located in the heart of Washington D.C. He has been honored to participate in the Washington College of Law’s critically acclaimed clinical training program, ranked 2nd in the nation for providing invaluable hands-on experience in the field of criminal justice. He was given the rare opportunity to work at the United States Attorney’s Office, representing the government for domestic violence criminal trials in Superior Court. Attorney Chien is also dedicated to continuing his legal education. As a recent graduate of the prestigious Trial Advocacy Project, an intensive 5-week training course held bi-annually by the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Attorney Chien continues to sharpen legal skills and provide clients with high caliber legal representation.

As an attorney licensed to practice law in the State of California, Gene Hon Chien has personally drafted multi-million dollar sale-purchase agreements for commercial property and obtained aggregate personal injury settlements in excess of a million dollars for his clients throughout Northern and Southern California. Attorney Chien is dedicated to providing his clients with expert guidance and aggressive legal representation.

In addition to his successful career, Gene Hon Chien is passionately devoted to the fight against domestic violence, volunteering his time to victims at Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Domestic Violence Project.
